It's that time of year again! Join us for a fun evening of Trick-or-Treating on Halloween! Of course you should wear your awesome costume and be prepared for a great time! Trunk or Treat opens at 5pm and we've got 25,000 pieces of candy to give away, so we'll see you there!

Strasburg Elementary Parking Lot
We've decided to move ahead with Trunk or Treat in a cautious and thoughtful way because we don't want kids in the community to miss One. More. Thing! Please know that planning this event has been an in-depth process and was not taken lightly. We've getting people lined up to help who are committed to ensuring this event is just as safe as always!
At this year's Trunk or Treat, we'll be practicing what we're calling the "Three Ss." That's Screening, meaning we'll be checking for symptoms of illness; Sanitization, because we'll be making the rounds and constantly sanitizing areas and high-touch surfaces at each vehicle; and Spacing, providing markings and making sure attendees social distance themselves from other parties and keep just one group to a car. We're also creating a special walking lane for the kiddos to keep them from getting too close to vehicles or people outside their household. Oh, and anyone handling candy (which is pre-packaged straight from the manufacturer) will be masked and gloved.
Please click the picture (above and to the left) to sign up and let us know you're going help. We need at least 50 people to decorate their vehicle's trunk and hand out candy along with filling other volunteer positions around the event for things like a cell phone photo booth, candy distribution, keeping things clean and sanitized, set up and tear down, and traffic control. All volunteers must be gloved and masked for this event.
Decorating a trunk? Volunteers can show up as early as 4pm to park, prep, and decorate!
