Women's Ministry exists to encourage you in your Up, In, and Out relationships.
Well, this is an interesting season we find ourselves in; navigating in unchartered waters...kind of. Those of you who have studied in the book of James, or any breadth of the Scriptures, know that we should not be surprised by trials and tribulations. I'd say the coronovirus and the stay-at-home orders fall right under 'trials and tribulations'. This may be a storm characteristic of no other storm we've faced, but it is a storm none the less. And in any storm, we must be vigilant to keep our focus on Jesus.
Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made know to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
So, first and foremost, take everything to God in prayer with thanksgiving and praise. Prioritize your Up relationship with God so you are continually growing in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ (2 Peter 3:18). Let us be women with hearts fully devoted to Him despite our circumstances.
Commit to facilitate In relationships with one another, especially in this season. Reach out to your fellow sisters via texts, emails, FaceTime, Zoom, etc. Encourage one another in love. Although we are many members, we are one body in Christ and we should be eager to maintain that unity to the glory of God.
Lastly, commit to sharing about the grace and love you've received. Let's be women who look, love, and live differently, making an impact for the kingdom. Reach Out in relationship to those who don't have a saving belief in Christ. We know the gospel hope to which all are looking for during this season.
Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns. And, I do still love to meet for coffee...via 'Zoom' these days!
