The MVF Kids Department offers
awesome things for...
Nursery: Our nursery is available for both services and is offered to infants and toddlers (usually through mid to late two's) who are not potty trained. In our nursery, babies are held and snuggled while you enjoy the service! Just let us know if your child has any special needs or is due for a bottle or a nap, and we'll make sure they are taken care of!
Toddlers and Elementary Kids: Late two's through 5th grade are going through Hands-On Bible Curriculum where they can't wait to see what the morning holds as they learn from God's Word! Hands-On teaches kids about God in ways they’ll remember... When Jesus taught, he used everyday objects like coins, fish, and plants to help people remember God’s truths. Hands-On Bible Curriculum does the same thing. Just like Jesus, we use everyday items—gizmos—to help kids learn lessons and verses from the Bible... and since children experience what they’re learning, it sticks with them for a lifetime. Our curriculum for Two's & Three's, Preschool, Lower Elementary (Kindergarten, 1st), Middle Elementary (2nd, 3rd) and Upper Elementary (4th, 5th) is all age-appropriate and makes learning about God FUN!
Parents can get involved, too. Our Growing Together Take-Home Pages provide some family fun as you reinforce what we learned in class. You can find the weekly Take Home Page on our website! Just click on our "Take-Home Pages" tab.
The Safety and Security of your children are very important to us! We have many measures in place to make sure your kids are safe, including secure check in - check out. All of our volunteers have been background-checked and cleared for your child's security! Many of our MVF Kids leaders are also Infant & Child CPR Certified.
Registration: There's no need to register your child ahead of time. Just visit us on a Sunday morning at the MVF Kids Welcome Table, and we will get you all set.
If you have any questions, concerns, or special circumstances we should know about, contact our Children's Ministry Director, Darcee Barber!
